David was Wilhelm Trepp’s Hebrew name. Wilhelm was born on 30 Jan 1915 in Witzenhausen, Germany to Albert and Anna nee Katz and he had an older sister Hilde and a younger brother Ernst. He was married to Ruth Gerson.

Wilhelm was killed in an automobile accident.
