Mojzesz (Moshe) was born in 1922 in Lviv, Poland the son of Hanoh and Mirelle and had one brother. Their father died when they were young and they immigrated with their mother to Israel settling in Ramat Gan. Moshe studied in the Ben Shemen youth village and then to Vocational School in Tel Aviv. He was a member of the Working Youth movement.

When World War II broke out, he was one of the first to enlist in the Air Force. He participated in battles in Tobruk, the Western Desert and Egypt. On 3 July 1941, while in a convoy en route to Cairo, he was killed in a car accident and laid to rest in the British Military Cemetery in Cairo.
