Ben was born on 5 June 1916 in London to Annie Pagin. There is no trace of a father and it is thought that Annie’s maiden name was Minkovitz or Mincovitch and she was born in 1892 in Leeds, Yorkshire. We are searching for the family.
In 1939, Ben was living at 59 Cleveland Way, Stepney with Annie Minkovitz and he worked as a bedding upholsterer. He enlisted in 1940.
Ben died on 17 May 1945 whist based at Bihar. The cause of his death is unknown.
