Konstantin was born on 25 April 1911 in Zelená, Czechoslovakia and his parents were murdered in the Holocaust. After immigrating to Israel, he settled in Herzliya, established an agricultural farm and grew bananas. His acquaintances testified that he was, ‘a good friend, devoted to his role and loved by all his acquaintances.’

Konstantin worked as ground crew and was killed when the airfield was attacked by enemy action at Bu Ahmut airfield in Libya.
