Abraham was born in 1918 in Warsaw, Poland, to a wealthy family. His father was Eliezer a Polish freedom fighter in World War I. After graduating from school Abraham travelled to Jerusalem in December 1936 to study at the Mizrachi Teachers’ Seminary. However, a few months later, he stopped his studies in order to work as a plumber.

In May 1940 he volunteered for the Royal Air Force and served in Egypt and Greece. Abraham died from wounds sustained during ground action in the fall of Crete.
