Moses was born in 1916 in Poland to Chaim and Sheindl Nyman and immigrated with his family to Israel. He excelled in the game of football and played for several teams, including The Maccabi Future Alliance. After graduating, he worked as a locksmith in Rehovot and later moved to the Potassium Company in the Dead Sea. He married Miryam and they had a daughter.

Moses enlisted into the RAF as a ‘local enlistment’  in 1940. He died from Yellow Fever in Ismailia.
