Salomon was born on 26 December 1900 in Poland. It is unknown how he managed to escape from Nazi Europe but he was found in the 1939 Register living at the Kitchener Camp in Sandwich, Kent. The record states that he he was married to Jetty Drimmer.

Salomon died at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and his cause of death was a Coronary Thrombosis.
