Stuart was born in April 1896 in Kensington to Harry Eskell Paget and Australian born Florence nee Mandelson and he was the youngest child with three older sisters. Their father Harry worked as a dentist with his practice based at 446 West Strand, London.

It is known that Stuart served in No. 2 Group but his role is unknown to date.

Stuart died at Horton emergency hospital in Epsom on 7th April 1945. His death certificate states: ‘Cerebral haemorrhage, hyperplasia & arterio sclerosis.’
