Samuel was born in 1896 in Poland to Zeev and Miriam. In 1934 he immigrated to Israel and was one of the founders of the ‘village’ in Hadera. His health was not good and after a fever he was out of work for a long time. He managed to bring his parents to Israel and they settled in Kfar Saba. He married Etia and they had a daughter. In 1941 he left his job at the Ministry of Agricultural Contractors and enlisted in the RAF. As part of his service, he was given the time to help the Jews in Benghazi.

While in Benghazi he became ill with typhus and died at the RAF hospital.
