Zelig was the son of Michael and Chanah Feldman and the husband of Libah of Tel Aviv. Further details of Zelig’s life are unknown to date.

Zelig sadly committed suicide on 24th May 1942. The squadron Operational Record Book stated the following: ‘LAC Feldman attempted to commit suicide in Alexandria by drinking iodine. He was placed under close arrest when he left hospital and brought to the aerodrome when he was considered as not fit to plead and taken back to No. 41 Hospital when on the 24th of the month he put himself under a train and was cut to pieces. A Court of Enquiry is being held at No. 41 General Hospital.’
