Harry was born on 20 August 1915 to Louis and Leah Rose of Southport, Lancashire. The 1939 register lists them as living at 48 Tithebarn Road, Southport and Louis is a retired tailor. Harry was living at 67 South Knighton Road, Leicester and was working as a salesman for Lyons & Co. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harry was the pilot of Wellington T2844 which departed RAF Pershore on a daylight air test. The aircraft’s life raft deployed and fouled the controls. The aircraft went into a steep dive and broke up in the air killing everyone on board when it crashed near Cheltenham. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
