GOD REST IN HIS SOUL IN PEACE&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Alfred was the son of Charles and Leah n\u00e9e Rodinsky of Finsbury Park, London and he was the middle child of seven siblings. Charles worked as a cabinet maker and in 1939 the family lived at 67 Queens Drive in Stoke Newington. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alfred was the flight engineer on Lancaster HK612 which departed from RAF Mildenhall on a daylight operation to attack the Homberg- Meerbeck oil plant. At 14.17 the aircraft was seen to collide at 20,000 feet with another 15 Sqn Lancaster PB115.
