Hyman was born on 22 Mar 1919 in Thistle Street, Glasgow to Philip and Leah nee Jacobs and he had three sisters, Sadie, Tilly, Ray and a brother Frederick. Their father worked as an upholsterer in Glasgow before the family moved and settled in Dublin, Ireland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyman was serving in 160 Squadron based in Ceylon when he died from accidental drowning whilst swimming in the Victoria Dam. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
