Maurice was an only child born in 1910 in Wandsworth to Solomon Moses and Hannah nee Musaphia. Solomon worked as a costumier and ladies hairdresser and legally changed his name in 1926 to Saul Max Morrison. Maurice worked as a master dyer and cleaner before he enlisted in 1940. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maurice died on 12 July 1941 in Middleton Sanitorium. His death certificate states that his cause of death was: ‘1(a) Tuberculosis Meningitis (b) Pulmonary Tuberculosis.’<\/em> He was initially buried in Leeds Cemetery before he was moved and reburied in Willesden Jewish Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
