Alfred was born in 1918 in Whitechapel, London to Simon and Kate nee Fitter. No further information can be found on the family to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details of Alfred’s RAF service are unclear. He is listed as being captured on 15 February 1942 and sent to Malai Prisoner of War camp in Singapore and died from Beri Beri eighteen months later. He was originally buried at Kanburi Hospital Cemetery in Grave 111 before being reburied at Kanchanaburi. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
