In&nbsp;1934 he immigrated&nbsp;to Israel and was one of the founders of the &#8216;village&#8217; in Hadera. His health was not good and after a fever he was out of work for a long time. He managed to bring his parents to Israel and they settled in Kfar Saba. He married Etia and they had a daughter. In&nbsp;1941 he left&nbsp;his job at the Ministry of Agricultural Contractors and enlisted in the RAF.
