MUMMY AND DADDY, JOE, HENRY AND EDNA&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Cyril was born on 19 October 1922 in Hackney to Samuel and Polish born Katie nee Creggy (Krieger) and he had a sister Edna and two brothers, Joseph and Henry. Samuel&#8217;s father Hyman who was born in Poland worked as a Kosher butcher in Well Street, Hackney and Samuel followed into the family business. In 1939 the family were living at 74 King Edward Road, Hackney where they ran the butchers and poultry business. Joseph helped in the business,  Henry was a clerk and Cyril was a furrier. Cyril enlisted after September 1941.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cause of Cyril&#8217;s death is unknown.
