Louis was the son of Isaac and Deborah n\u00e9e Abrahams of Bethnal Green, London. The family lived at 112 Mansford Street, Bethnal Green where Louis’s father Isaac worked as a master shoe repairer. Louis had three siblings, Alfred, Monty and Sadie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Louis was an air gunner on Wellington BK242 which took off from RAF Finningley on a day training exercise. The aircraft crashed attempting to overshoot killing all the crew:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
