The family lived at 112 Mansford Street, Bethnal Green  where Louis&#8217;s father Isaac worked as a master shoe repairer. Louis had three siblings, Alfred, Monty and Sadie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Louis was an air gunner on Wellington BK242 which took off from RAF Finningley on a day training exercise. The aircraft crashed attempting to overshoot killing all the crew:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pilot, Thomas William Hodgson Dalziel, 1432841. <br>Nav, William Baird Jarvie, 1344192<br>B\/A, Edgar Farrer, 1562923 <br>W\/Op A\/G Murray Cohen, 1235344, aged 21.
