Abraham&#8217;s mother Rebecca died in 1918 in Portsmouth aged thirty six and his father died in 1940. Samuel worked as a potato and fruit merchant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abraham married Rachel Harris in Portsmouth in 1940 and their only son Stuart was born one month after Abraham&#8217;s death. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abraham was on board Catalina FP 161 which took departed on a ferry flight from Willingdon Beach, Ceylon. The aircraft disappeared without trace over the Bay of Bengal.
