Maurice married Tulip Steinberg in Leeds in 1929. In the 1939 Register, Maurice and Tulip are living at 21 Ayresome Terrace, Leeds and he is listed as working as a cinema film salesman and manager. They had two sons, Michael born in 1941 and Gerald in 1942.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maurice died at Bedford County Hospital. His death certificate states his death was from, ‘Toxaemia due to gas gangrene due to injuries caused accidentally in a collision between a fire tender and a control van.’<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
