Hanoch was born in 1923 in Berlin, Germany to Israel and Dina-Lya. When the persecution of Jews began in Germany the family immigrated to Israel, first living in Tel Aviv, and then moving to Ramat Gan. Hanoch studied at the Folk School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He volunteered in 1940 and joined 974 Balloon Squadron. He was killed on 26 Mar 1942 when he was electrocuted whilst handling a balloon near high tension cables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
