Jack was the son of Sidney and Dora Earle of St Marylebone, London. Brother of Harold. Further details are unknown about his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jack was the air bomber on Lancaster DV392 which departed from RAF Kelstern on a night operation to Leipzig. The aircraft exploded in the air throwing out P\/O Roy Leslie Jacobs 158292 and S\/L Edward Quentin Moody 40006. Jacobs and Moody were captured and became prisoners of war at Stalag Luft L1 at Barth Vogelsang. The rest of the crew were killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
