MOTHER, SISTERS AND BROTHER&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Jacob was born on 1 September 1915 in Stockton-on-Tees to Russian born Isaac and Sophia n\u00e9e Perlman. Jacob had three older siblings, Rebekah, Myer and Jennie who were all born in Wales. In 1911 the family were living in Bridgend where Isaac is listed as a Hebrew Minister. In 1939 the family had moved to Hackney where Isaac is a Jewish Ecclesiastical Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are searching for Jacob&#8217;s family to reunite them with the photo on the right. We have been contacted by the owner who would like the photo to go to his family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jacob was an air bomber on Halifax DK170 which departed RAF Linton-on-Ouse on a night operation to Dusseldorf. The aircraft was shot down by a night-fighter and crashed south of Bladel, near Eindhoven, Holland. Six of the crew were killed and one was captured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pilot Sgt. Lobban 1131592, Survived and evaded until his capture near the Spanish border 29 July 1943.
