DAD, MUM AND NORMA&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Isaac, known as Ivan, was born on 15 March 1925 in Hackney, London to Israel and Millie n\u00e9e Solomons and had one sister Norma. Their father Israel was a taxi driver and volunteered as an ARP warden. Ivan worked as a printer from the age of fourteen before volunteering into the RAF. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ivan was the air gunner in Lancaster NG219 which departed from RAF Witchford on a day operation to Solingen.
