Morris was born in 1920 in Glasgow to Lithuanian born Archibald and Minnie n\u00e9e Barlowitz. Archibald was born in Skuodas, Lithuania, emigrated to Glasgow in 1900 and became a naturalised British citizen in 1916.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morris was an air bomber in Hampden P4389 which took off from RAF Finningley on an air test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft stalled and dived into the ground shortly after take\u2013off just outside the Finningley airfield boundary (near Gatewood Farm, Gatewood Lane, Old Cantley, Doncaster) at 18.05 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five personnel were on board. Two aircrew and three ground crew.
