Stanley was born on 18 June 1923 in Lewisham, London to Percy and Fanny nee Solomons. Research is ongoing to find further information about his family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stanley enlisted in 1941 and was in Bowden, Alberta in Canada training at 32 Elementary Flying Training School. He was training in Cornell RCAF 14412 when the aircraft spun into the ground killing him and his flying instructor Terence Flexman Proctor, 84661. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
